I often found on the street people would call out to me: "Hey, it's Marilyn Monroe!"
Once I was even at the Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles and a tour guide pointed me out as Marilyn to his group.
I have taken my styling inspiration from Marilyn and very much enjoy giving people a moment of delight and wonder when they see me.
But I have also tried to take inspiration from Marilyn's personality and manner: sweet, open-hearted, generous, passionate, playful, genuine, sexy and sensual.
I take my name from two of my favourite characters that Marilyn brought to life on screen: "Sugar" from Some Like It Hot and "Lee" from Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.
